NPP Projection Report 11/2 Admin/Open


To do this evening/ was completed: Please schedule Wednesday and Thursday and finish the cue sheets.

Keep downloading the VHS Vault files.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Scheduled Friday 11/5 - Tuesday 11/9. Shows for Sunday 11/7 are scheduled an hour late because of how the TMS adjusts the schedule for daylight savings. The shows should be scheduled for the correct times come Sunday morning.

Built the playlist for the Dogtown & Z-Boys event tomorrow night. Used a generic preshow and the Nitehawk logo for the intro and Q&A, will swap it out if John sends me something else. 

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Checked the Spoons setup with Desmond. It's all good and I'll go over the changes with Jack tomorrow night, we should have some time after the event wraps up.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): John brought over a poster for the Dogtown event tomorrow night, Jack hung it up this evening.

Ordering/Receiving (content): Checked on the order of Ammonite and because of a bug on Eclair's end the order says it's still pending but the content is coming onto our server and should be available for download soon.

Da 5 Bloods DCP should be coming on Thursday.

Continued downloading VHS Vault content. Also logged into the Plex account and made new libraries for the new VHS Vault folders.

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: Teched the Muppet Movie playlist, all good for today.

Teched the print of Dogtown & Z-Boys and the DCP of the A Look Back short film with John. Both looked good!

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes, added tracking info for Da 5 Bloods.

Maintenance/cleaning:

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Filled in cues for Friday 11/5 - Thursday 11/11. Missing credit timing for Wednesday and Thursday

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
