To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues: Audio issue with the Tenet screening in Theater 1 which led to the screening being interrupted and most of the 6th reel going unshown, see below.

Preshow Clips/Playlist: I noticed during the first show that C'mon C'mon is 1.66, so I added the lens/masking change for that ratio to the playlist.

Built and scheduled the Love Actually playlist.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Tenet 35mm screening in Theater 1. when I changed over to reel 6 of the film, I got a call from the servers in the theater that only the music on the soundtrack was playing, no dialogue. I thought it was just a glitch with the changeover as I heard the dialogue fine through the booth monitor, but when I checked in the theater I could barely hear anything, even music. I tried switching to the SR soundtrack, checked the connections to/from the film audio processor, restarted everything, switched between projectors, but nothing worked. I was so stumped that I stopped the movie, and after emailing DMS in a panic I figured out the main amps had shut off. Turns out the movie was so loud it tripped the breakers for the main amps. I got them back on and projected the 7th (last reel) for the remaining audience.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordered posters for Benedetta, Spider-Man: No Way Home, and The Matrix Resurrections through IMoxie.

Ordering/Receiving (content): Ingested new keys for Dune.

I noticed that the Universal Holiday Combo drive, with Love Actually and How the Grinch Stole Christmas, also contains The Best Man Holiday, screening 12/8.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Cleared Last Night in Soho feature and playlist from all servers.

Scheduled a FedEx pickup for the Tenet print.

Print/video Inspection:

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Added tracking for The Holiday, The Secret Life of Plants, and Scrooged drives. All three are due to arrive on Friday 11/26.

Maintenance/cleaning:

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Updated cues for Love Actually and Once Upon a Time in China II.

To do this evening/ was completed: Scheduled 1/3 - 1/9 in LMS. A few manual starts in there. I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state.
