NPP Projection Report 11/26 Admin/Open

To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Emailed Kris King about the errors in the NPP Forecast. He says he can update it on Monday.

Waiting for the event memo for the private event on 11/30 to be completed so I can build a playlist for the preshow.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up:

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Received posters for The Matrix Resurrections.

Ordering/Receiving (content): Drives came in for The Holiday and Scrooged. The Secret Life of Plants is still due to arrive tonight via UPS.

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: Teched the Love Actually playlist, it's good to go for the weekend.

Ran the first reel of The American Astronaut in Theater 1 to check the volume. The print looks and sounds very good. I also put some gaff tape on the port glass to mask off a bit of image that was bleeding on the curtain (I had to take off the tape I put on for prior screenings when I projected Tenet which is scope).

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: We have a new earpiece for the walkie!

Placed an order for some new aluminum house reels and take-up belting with DMS.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Cues and schedule checked for Saturday through Tuesday.

To do this evening/ was completed: Scheduled 1/3 - 1/9 in LMS. A few manual starts in there. I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. SE screenings went smoothly. Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state.
