NPP Projection Report 11/30 Open


To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built and scheduled the Benedetta playlist.

Scheduled all first run playlists for Friday 12/3 through Wednesday 12/8.

Trailer Updates: Swapped the Benedetta trailer for Nightmare Alley in appropriate playlists to schedule starting 12/3.

Special Events/ AV set up: American Astronaut 35mm screening with director Q&A in Theater 1. Jack and I noticed during the screening that the image from projector #2 has a bit of side to side jitter. I played with the gate pressure throughout which seemed to help a bit but didn’t completely resolve the issue. I asked DMS if they have any suggestions, I imagine this is something I’ll be able to fix on my own with some instructions. This was not an apparent issue when I tech checked the print earlier in the day. Otherwise, the screening and Q&A went well, the Q&A was recorded also.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): I wrote to IMoxie to check on my request for Benedetta posters, they said they've run out. I'll check back in a few days to see if they get more in.

Received posters for Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Ordering/Receiving (content): Received the Benedetta DCP through Eclair, it has been ingested to the TMS.

Ingested The Secret Life of Plants and Scrooged to the Theater 1 IMS, and The Best Man Holiday to the Theater 6 IMS.

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: Ran the first two reels of The American Astronaut when I got in for Cristina. Did not see the jitter during this tech.

Double checked the blu-ray and mics for the private event in Theater 3 tonight. Everything is good to go.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes, updated info for West Side Story and Don't Look Up. Also added KDM info for The Holiday and The Secret Life of Plants. We'll be able to tech both on Friday.

Maintenance/cleaning: Cleared a bunch of posters out of the caddy in 3/7 and put House of Gucci and C'mon C'mon extras in the archive tube.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Filled in cue sheets for 12/3-12/9, missing credit times for Thursday 12/9 as I need to build another set of playlists without the West Side Story trailer.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
