To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built and scheduled The Holiday and The Secret Life of Plants playlists.

Trailer Updates: Removed the Nitehawk Shorts Fest call for submissions from all playlists. Did my best to preserve the timing for current playlists by swapping in other trailers, timings for 12/3 playlists updated on cue sheets.

Special Events/ AV set up: When you break down the mic set up in a theater, please return the cables, mics, and mixer to the appropriate bins in 4/6.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Ingested keys for Benedetta and The Holiday, loaded new keys for Dune, Belfast, Spencer, and C'mon C'mon, all of which were imminently expiring.

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: Teched the Benedetta playlist, it's good to go.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: I played with the trap and gate on projector #2 in theater 1-- I tried, reseating the trap (it seemed a hair loose), cleaning the spring loaded disc at the top, adding intermittent oil, but nothing fixed the jittery image, though after reseating the gate I'm pretty sure I noticed an improvement-- I ran the first reel of American Astronaut again and the titles looked a lot steadier to my eye than they did last night. I tried also repositioning the turret and removing the gate completely and repositioning it, but I will have to check tomorrow if this did anything since the theater opened and I couldn't look at anything on screen.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Filled in start credits for Benedetta, filled out missing cues for The Holiday, Secret Life of Plants, and Scrooged as well.

Marquee updated?: Put up "Scrooged w/ Book Signing and Special Menu Dec 6" on the 15th street side of the marquee.

Posters updated?:

Cleaning lights on for the night?:

Projectors off for the night?:

Projection cart by TH5?:

To do this evening/ was completed: Scheduled 1/3 - 1/9 in LMS. A few manual starts in there. I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. SE screenings went smoothly. Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state.
