NPP Projection Report 12/14

To do this evening/ was completed: Ingested Christmas Vacation and How the Grinch Stole Christmas to theaters 1 and 2; also built playlists for both shows

Presentation Issues: Last round of Being the Ricardos started late because the SPL was not on the theater (5) server. The content had to be transferred from the TMS before the show could begin. Thankfully no tickets were sold before the start of the screening and the delay was manageable

Special Events/ AV set up: It's a Wonderful Life screening went smoothly

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Received new posters for Ambulance, Morbius, and a single one sheet for Being the Ricardos

Ordering/Receiving (content):

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Placed The Last Boy Scout print on the cart by theater 5 for FedEx pickup

Print/video Inspection: Checked blu-ray discs for volume and credit offset times for Escape from New York and When Harry Met Sally; proposal DCP was also checked (volume sounded fine at 5.0) for When Harry Met Sally private event

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes

Maintenance/cleaning:

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Began cue sheets for the upcoming week's programming and for Christmas Eve/Christmas Day's shows (Matthew sent this out early to help with staff scheduling but may be subject to change as showtimes are finalized)

Cleaning lights on for the night?: Yes

Projectors off for the night?:

Projection cart by TH5?: Yes

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built a show playlist for Interstellar (all this needs is a volume cue which can be added once the film is tech'd) Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Taking Off screening in theater 1 went really well Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordering/Receiving (content): Jawbreaker keys were downloaded and ingested Downloaded and ingested the "Antonias Line" trailer for the Boxcar Bertha pre-show Outgoing/Shipping (content): Print/video Inspection: Re-inspected Taking Off after the screening and placed all reels back on their shipping reels/in their canisters (also reached out the necessary parties at DHL and NBC/Universal to schedule a pickup) Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Updated information for a few titles this upcoming week Maintenance/cleaning: Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Marquee updated?: Removed Taking Off and added letters for  Boxcar Bertha  to the 3
