NPP Projection Report 12/6 Admin


To do this evening/ was completed: Plug in the projection laptop in Hi-Res at 7 for the music for the party, turn on the mic at 8:30 for the trivia. Bring all our cables and the laptop back up to 4/6 after the theater opens.

The Don't Look Up DCP is due to arrive from UPS by 9pm tonight, please ingest it when it arrives.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built playlists for Scrooged, The Best Man Holiday, and the Found Footage Festival preshow and scheduled them. Also built Serendipity and Elf playlists for next weekend.

Trailer Updates: Added the book announcement trailer to all show playlists.

Ingested trailers for Don't Look Up and Being the Ricardos and added them to a few first run playlists.

Special Events/ AV set up: Set up a mic and the audio connection to the laptop in Trees Lounge for the pre-screening party later. The playlist will play from the laptop when the party starts at 7 (with the 2004 Christmas Carol playing on the Plex behind the bar), and then John uses the mic to do a short round of trivia just before seating at 8:30. The key for the DJ box is in 4/6.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordered posters for Being the Ricardos through IMoxie.

Ordering/Receiving (content): Placed an order for the Being the Ricardos DCP through Eclair, it was accepted and loaded to our server. I started ingesting it to the TMS right before leaving.We received keys from Deluxe which have been ingested.

Ingested Elf to the Theater 2 IMS for next weekend.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Walked all outgoing hard drives and the Foxy Brown print to the UPS store. 

Scheduled a pick up for the American Astronaut print and a hard drive which needs to go back via FedEx, these are on the cart.

Print/video Inspection: Inspected the Scrooged DCP, it's all set for tonight!

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes, added an entry for Being the Ricardos and tracking for the Malice and Mermaids print. The delivery estimate for Malice is Thursday 12/9, Mermaids Friday 12/10.

Maintenance/cleaning:

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes, timing updated for Scrooged and Best Man Holiday as well.

Marquee updated?: Added the second date to Serendipity on the 14th street side.

Took down Scrooged from the 15th street side, replaced with The Last Boy Scout w/ 30 Years Later Podacst Dec 13 on 35mm.

Projection cart by TH5?: In 3/7 with the American Astronaut print and an outgoing hard drive. The pickup is for Wednesday 12/8 so when you move the cart you can leave the print in 3/7 if the elevator isn't working still.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
