NPP Projection Report 12/8 Admin


To do this evening/ was completed: Remove Power of the Dog from the marquee and take down the poster, this can be replaced with The Matrix for now until we get one sheets for Being the Ricardos.

Keep working on cues and schedule for next week.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Ingested the updated version of the Being the Ricardos DCP and added it to the palylist.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Changed the batteries for the spots in TH4, these are ready to go for the private event on Friday evening. We can use the TH6 remote, it works for these spots.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Made a schedule for deleting content from IMS servers, which is going to be important this week as there are lots of titles moving around until we lose Benedetta, C'mon C'mon, Dune, and Spencer next Thursday. The most crucial one is for tomorrow night, Benedetta needs to be deleted from Theater 4 after its last screening (6:45 showtime), and West Side Story ingested for the event the next evening. There is currently not enough space on the server to ingest West Side Story and nothing can be deleted until this last Benedetta screening. In addition to leaving a note on the white board in 4/6 I'll remind tomorrow night's closer about this before I leave.

Print/video Inspection: Teched Best Man Holiday and West Side Story playlists, both are ready to go.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes, added info for new first runs.

Maintenance/cleaning: Changed the bulbs in the TH7 & TH6 projectors.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Checked over for Friday-Monday, scheduled the Being the Ricardos playlist as well.

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
