NPP Projection Report 1/12 Admin


To do this evening/ was completed: Download the 10min Anime preshow clip to the DCPII drive, ingest it along with the 40min and 20min clips.

Build the Belle playlist following the trailer list for this week, schedule all first run playlists for Friday 1/14 - Thursday 1/20.

Presentation Issues: When teching Red Rocket in theater 7, I noticed the sound levels were quite high. I opened the Dolby CP750 remote control application and adjusted the alignment for the speakers in this theater. I think this is probably what lead to a customer complaint about volume in this theater, some of the trailers and our preshow content were very loud at their normal fader levels. Shouldn't be a problem now.

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Downloaded and ingested the Scream and Singers and Actors preshows. Downloaded the 40min and 20min Anime preshow clips to the DCPII drive.

Built new first run playlists for the week, with the exception of Belle, it’s preshow content is still loading onto Google Drive.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Paid in Full is teched and ready to go for tonight.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Received a new TrailMix drive.

Ordering/Receiving (content): Ingested Minions to the Theater 2 IMS for Monday.

Ingested keys for Red Rocket, as well as for the 7.1 version of Sing 2, which were needed for today's screenings. Only the keys for the 5.1 version had been ingested. When you download keys from the Deluxe emails, download every .zip file with keys (you can ignore the .zip files which are an open caption supplement to the DCP which we sometimes get) and ingest them all so there are no incidents where the keys for the correct version of the feature haven't been ingested in time.

Casper and Now and Then prints arrived. Brought Casper up to 4/6 and Now and Then to 1.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Deluxe sent us a drive for Belle. We already received the content through Eclair, and it is still on our server, so I packed up the drive for return. We received keys from Deluxe, but they are for the exact same feature CPLs which we got from Eclair.

Print/video Inspection: Worked out the final kinks with the CS Blues Digibeta presentation, namely setting up the projector channel to present the film in the proper aspect ratio (4:3) and making sure the sound plays in Mono. This is now 100% ready to go for tomorrow night. It looks and sounds very good!

Teched the Red Rocket playlist in Theater 7, it's good to go.

Brought the Desperately Seeking Susan print up to booth 4/6 for its screening on Monday.

Began inspecting the Casper print, it’s in fair shape. Will finish this up tomorrow and tech the print on Friday.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes, added Red Rocket and KDM info for this week's new first runs. Also added further tech info for CS Blues.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
