NPP Projection Report 1/18 Admin

To do this evening/ was completed: Received keys for Parallel Mothers, please ingest them.

The Desperately Seeking Susan print is on the cart for return. Please leave it by the side entrance at close.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Ingested the Lovecraft_40min preshow clip. I think what was preventing the TMS from recognizing it was that the asset map file was named ASSET MAP (1) instead of just ASSET MAP.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Set up the Digibeta in Theater 1 again for the staff screening of CS Blues today. I rewound the tape and put the player away, reconnecting the blu-ray/booth PC to the Christie HDMI input.

There was also the film feast pre-screening of Face/Off in Theater 3. Projected it from the projection MacBook via the HDMI blu-ray input. This has been reconnected to the blu-ray player as well.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Received posters for The Batman and Morbius with its new release date.

Received a new trailer drive.

Ordering/Receiving (content): The Single White Female print came.

Flee DCP came through to our Eclair server, it’s been ingested to TMS.

DCPs of Parallel Mothers (opening 1/21) and Cow (screening for the cinema team Friday morning) should be arriving from Deluxe tomorrow.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Had Will bring outgoing drives to the UPS store when he got in.

Print/video Inspection: Inspected the Now and Then print, which is gorgeous. Hardly a mark on it!

Began inspecting Single White Female, which was in good condition with usual signs of wear and use. Will finish inspecting and tech it tomorrow.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes, added entries for Flee and Parallel Mothers

Maintenance/cleaning: Tried swapping gate bands from a projector in T4 to projector 2 in 1 to see if this alone would resolve the shaking issue. It didn’t, but getting new bands certainly won’t hurt. Also tried removing the intermittent to see if I could swap one from 4 as well, but I quickly realized I wouldn’t be able to do this on my own. I returned the gate bands to the projector in 4 and left the trap out of projector 2 in 1 with gate bands removed.

CTS is making their visit with the parts for the Theater 1 projector tomorrow. DMS may be coming as well. Hopefully
should have an update on the status for 35mm screenings in 1 and 6, maybe 4, after that.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes, looked over for today and there were no issues.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
