Ordering/Receiving (content): The Chicago DCP arrived, it came on a combo drive of Paramount/Miramax titles so I guess this is why it never showed up on the Deluxe portal. Will follow up about keys if needed.

Checked with Searchlight about the Summer of Soul print delivery, they said by Sunday. We’ll also be getting a DCP backup, which is arriving Monday.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Switchblade Sisters DCP and CS Blues tape are on the cart for pickup on Monday. Someone moved these today so FedEx didn’t see them when they came for the pickup.

Checked with Sony about Single White Female return and Universal about Casper, waiting to hear back.

Print/video Inspection: Watched the first reel and a bit of the second reel of Now and Then in Theater 1. Looked and sounded very good. I did notice the focus was a tiny bit soft on the left side of the screen from projector #2 so I "shimmed" the trap mount slightly with two small pieces of gaff tape to even the focus out. Watched the first reel of Purple Rain from this projector after making that adjustment and it looked, and sounded, awesome. Gonna be a private dance party in the booth when I project this on Tuesday night!! 35mm screenings this weekend and Monday should go very well also!

Finished inspecting Purple Rain, print looks great.

Inspected reel four of Fun, there was no countdown leader on this so I marked the feet numbers with paper tape to thread for changeover. As with the rest of the print, it’s quite scratched but should still be presentable.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes, added info for Chicago.

Maintenance/cleaning:

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Checked over for tonight, all good.

Marquee updated?: Took Nightmare Alley, The 355, and Single White Female down from the front of the marquee. Put up Parallel Mothers, Flee, and Purple Rain.

Posters updated?: Since we're so limited on poster space because of the scaffolding I decided to take down posters for everything that has less than three shows a day, so I have Flee, Scream, Spider-Man, Parallel Mothers, and Licorice Pizza posters hanging outside, and Moonfall and Jackass Forever with coming soon snipes in the lobby.

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
