Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built preshow playlists for tomorrow evening’s Summer of Soul event and Fun for Thursday night.

Downloaded Shattered and Princess Kaguya trailers from the Google Drive, the Forecast seems to have uploaded improperly as there are no video or audio components and there are two extra .xml files. I asked Kat about this and she said it was still uploading, but when I checked at the end of the night both trailers had finished and the forecast hadn’t changed, so I’ll ask her again tomorrow.

Made and ingested DCP slides for Summer of Soul Q&A and Fun intro.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: The Purple Rain screening in Theater 1 went great! Print is back on its shipping reels in the cans. Return labels are attached, I’ll get a pickup scheduled tomorrow.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content):

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Brought the From Beyond print down to the cart and scheduled a pickup for tomorrow.

Print/video Inspection: Inspected the remaining two reels of both Summer of Soul and Fun. Both are ready to be screened.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes, added Drive My Car and delivery estimates for Crouching Tiger and Starman prints.

Maintenance/cleaning: Cleared off and cleaned the bottom row of the shelf opposite the rewind table in booth 1 to use for print storage.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes, timing for most shows on next weeks cue sheets needed to be adjusted by a minute or two since the trailer packs weren’t a full 10 minutes. Checked over for tomorrow as well.

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
