Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Swapped the Feb Love trailer for Shattered in the Fun playlist at Cristina’s request.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Tested the cable connection in T1 for the Superbowl showing next month, it’s still working and ready to go for this event. Since this uses the same converter as the one for the stage laptop connection for Spoons, I reconnected the cable for that next Thursday.

Showed Jack the new Spoons audio set-up, will also send instructions in an email to both projectionists and Desmond so it’s available in writing.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): The Shattered and Crouching Tiger prints arrived. Earth Girls are Easy got delivered to Williamsburg, John will bring that over.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Walked all outgoing hard drives to the UPS store.

Print/video Inspection: Watched the last reel of Speed Racer in T1 to time the credits.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes, updated with today’s print deliveries.

Maintenance/cleaning: We received a new 16M bulb for the CP2215 projectors today. Since the bulb in 5 was expired I put this new bulb in that projector.

DMS said the lamps I had ordered for the projectors in 1 and 2 are on backorder for another month, so I requested a different size. They have requested two different size bulbs which will work in these projectors and will get us whichever is available soonest.

I filed the scope plate on projector 2 in Theater 1 as it was quite visible on screen.

Removed and cleaned the port glass for this projector as well.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes, checked through for next week through Wednesday. The last round in Theater 6 for Tuesday night had a Tragedy of Macbeth showing listed when it should have been Red Rocket. I’m guessing the cues were copied and pasted from Monday, please do not do this unless you’re absolutely certain all showtimes are the same. I fixed this and the TMS schedule.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
