NPP Projection Report 2/11 Admin


To do this evening/ was completed: Jerry from DMS worked out the jitter on the projector in Theater 1. He adjusted a bearing on the front of the turret, this affected the evenness of the focus so getting it to a good spot in both respects took some doing.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the Moonstruck playlist, though we got an on-screen slide for this at the end of the day so I’ll have to update it.

Built the preshow playlist for Shattered.

Trailer Updates: Downloaded Nitehawk Diaries and Kids screening trailers from Google Drive and ingested them to TMS.

Special Events/ AV set up:

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Ingested B*A*P*S to Theater 3. 

The Trees Lounge print came.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Starman and School Daze prints are on the cart for pickup on Monday.

Print/video Inspection: Began inspecting the Shattered print, it looks like it’s in great shape.

Teched Magnificent Warriors in Theater 1 and Love and Basketball in Theater 6. Both prints looked great.

Because of the work on the projector in Theater 1, we unfortunately did not get to look at the NSF opening night program. This has been rescheduled for Tuesday.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes, updated info for Sweet Sweetback, and tracking for Uncharted.

Maintenance/cleaning:

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Updated cues for Magnificent Warriors after checking the credits.

Marquee updated?:

Posters updated?:

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
