NPP Projection Report 2/15


To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Downloaded and ingested the new Forecast and the Vampires and Crime preshows.

Remade the Uncharted playlist, the one that was built did not have the assigned preshow in it and had this weeks trailer pack (with the Uncharted trailer!). Built new first run playlists for titles held over as well and rescheduled Thursday. Scheduled Friday 2/18 - Tuesday 2/22.

Built and scheduled Baby Boy, My Neighbor Totoro, The Lost Boys preshow, Sweet Sweetback, and B*A*P*S playlists.

Trailer Updates: Made new PG13 and R trailer packs for next week.

Special Events/ AV set up: Moonstruck film feast screening and post-screening trivia in Trees Lounge went great. Mics, mixer, and cables are back in their bins in 4/6. Mic stands are in 4/6 for tonight and will be returned to beneath the curtain in Theater 1 tomorrow.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Baby Boy and Sweet Sweetback DCP drives came today. Those two and My Neighbor Totoro have been ingested to their respective servers. Ingested keys for Baby Boy and new ones for Licorice Pizza.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Scheduled a Fedex pickup for the Love and Basketball print for tomorrow and left it on the cart by the side entrance.

Print/video Inspection: Continued inspecting The Lost Boys, second and third reels are in better shape than the first but still fairly scratched.

Teched the opening night NSF program and the two for closing night which were redone. Have volume levels written down for all.

Teched the Shattered print, it looks and sounds great. Wrote the volume level down on the info sheet.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes, added tracking for The Dark Crystal DCP which should be arriving tomorrow, and added KDM info for Baby Boy and Uncharted.

Maintenance/cleaning: Received four rolls of 3/4” paper tape (and new inspection gloves yesterday). Placed a roll on each of the tape dispensers, one in booth 1 and one in 4/6.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes, updated timing for this Thursday and built cues for Friday 2/18 - Tuesday 2/22.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
