NPP Projection Report 2/24 Admin
To do this evening/ was completed: Update marquee and put a now showing snipe above Oscar Shorts poster in the lobby.
Ingest NSF preshow when it’s finished downloading to the DCP hard drive.
Foxfire 35mm screening with Q&A in Theater 1, scope lenses and plates are in place in both projectors. Playlist is ready with both slides, I have it set to pause over a black clip with the dowser on the digital projector closed and lamp off while the film plays, so just strike the lamp towards the end of the film and press play on the server when it ends, also set up the camcorder to record the Q&A.
Presentation Issues:
Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built playlists for Batman: Mask of the Phantasm preshow, Princess Kaguya, and Near Dark preshow. No playlist yet for the Video Music Box screening, will talk to John about timing for intro/Q&A and slides.
Trailer Updates:
Special Events/ AV set up: Brought the DJ equipment back to 3/7. Cables are back in their bins in 4/6.

Ordering/Receiving (content): Downloaded You're Now Watching Video Music Box from the Aspera link sent to me and ingested it to Theater 2.
Outgoing/Shipping (content): Packed up the Trees Lounge print and printed and attached a shipping label for the Somebody Somewhere DCP and scheduled a pickup for both for tomorrow. They’re on the cart in 3/7.
Print/video Inspection: Teched both Oscar Shorts playlists, added a lighting cue for credits and raised the volumes to 5.5. There are barely any credits, less than a minute for both playlists, though with the way the playlists time out we should put 1 minute of credits for the Live Action shorts in the cue sheets, and 0 for the Animated.

Tech checked the Batman: Mask of the Phantasm print, it looks and sounds great. Wrote the volume level down on the info sheet.
Teched the BlacKkKlansman blu-ray in Theater 6 and wrote down volume, credits time, and runtime on a sheet taped to the case. Updated the event memo as well.
Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes, added tracking for Eve’s Bayou which will be arriving tomorrow along with Near Dark.
Maintenance/cleaning: Jerry came by today to finish installing the new control board in projector 1 in Theater 4. Both projectors are in working order now. I ran some film after he left and changeovers went smoothly, no issues switching sound with the motor on the other projector running, and shutter opened/closed in sync. The only issue was that the take up belt broke on projector 1 while I was testing it but I had already made a few changeovers so I just stopped it, I’ll replace the belt before the screenings in this theater, and also put a new one in projector 2 just to be safe as it’s been in there for a while.
Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes, updated showtimes for Friday - Sunday and filled in credits for Oscar Shorts. Also filled in cues for Monday, missing timing for the Video Music Box screening as the event memo has no timing on it yet. I’ll fill that in once it gets updated. Filled in timing for the private BlacKkKlansman event on Tuesday 3/1.

Posters updated?: Took down the Marry Me poster and moved Oscar Shorts over to the entrance side of the lobby with a coming soon snipe. Hung The Batman in the exit side of the lobby.
