NPP Projection Report 2/4 Admin


To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built and scheduled the Man Who Fell to Earth playlist.

Ingested the Ruth Carter preshow to TMS.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Set up the new iPad mini with Soundtrack and returned the one from T7 to MOD. Downloaded Spotify on the other iPad mini for Trees, since we can only pair one device per “zone” on the Soundtrack account.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Received new posters for Ambulance.

Ordering/Receiving (content): The DCP for Man Who Fell to
Earth arrived, I ingested it to Theater 1.

The School Daze print also came.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Handed outgoing drives off to UPS.

Print/video Inspection: Teched the Man Who Fell to Earth DCP in Theater 1, it looks and sounds great!

Inspected the School Daze print, it’s fairly beat up. Lots of splices and some unrepaired sprocket tears which I taped up. Also fairly scratched. I told Desmond about the condition and he said he may end up doing an intro to let the audience know, so I’m holding off on building the preshow playlist for now.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes, updated entries for this weeks Cinema dept. events, Starman, Howl’s Moving Castle, Man Who Fell to Earth, and Earth Girls Are Easy,

Maintenance/cleaning: Cleared Spoons furniture from Theater 1 and placed the tables behind the curtains in Theater 2. There was also one of the old chairs from Trees which I returned to the closet on the landing between the two flights of stairs up to the mezzanine.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Updated cues for Starman screenings this weekend and Man Who Fell to Earth on Monday.

Marquee updated?: Added Who We Are to the front.

Posters updated?: Took down the Parallel Mothers poster from outside and hung Who We Are.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
