NPP Projection Report 3/22 Admin


To do this evening/ was completed: Continue scheduling for next week and adding credit times to the cue sheets, though there was a pretty big disparity between the actual runtime and the runtime in FilmBot for The Lost City, causing most shows to overlap by about 16 minutes as currently scheduled. I wrote to Matthew about this and he and Conrad looked into adjusting the showtimes, a new schedule was just sent out so please update these showtimes on the cue sheets.

Private party watching Escape from New York in Theater 6, preshow is scheduled for 6:30, the movie starts at 7.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built a preshow playlist for the private event in Theater 6 tonight, built the Lost City playlist.

Downloaded and ingested The Lost City preshow, Killer Makeover trailer, and the new forecast, added the forecast to all of next week’s playlists.

Trailer Updates: Added the Spring Animated welcome and feature snipes to both 3/25 trailer packs.

Special Events/ AV set up:

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Received posters for The Lost City, finally.

Ordering/Receiving (content): DCPs for The Lost City and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban came in today, Lost City has been ingested to the TMS and Harry Potter locally to Theater 1.

Ingested keys for The Lost City, they open tomorrow night at midnight, so we can tech it before it opens Thursday.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): The Careful print got picked up

Print/video Inspection: Teched the Wild Things print in Theater 1, it looked great. Added a volume cue for the CP750 to the preshow playlist.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Added tracking for Jujutsu Kaisen 0 and Labyrinth, both are coming tomorrow.

Maintenance/cleaning:

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Filled in preshow, showtime, lights down, and movie start for Friday 3/25 - Thursday 3/31. Scheduled (most) shows for Friday - Sunday and filled in credit times. See note above for why most of The Lost City shows haven’t been scheduled yet, though I did schedule it at least once in the theaters it will be playing in Thursday - Sunday so the feature will ingest to those servers.

Posters updated?: Replaced Morbius with The Lost City in the lobby.

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
