NPP Projection Report 3/22 Close

To do this evening/ was completed: Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban finished ingesting locally to theater 1; downloaded and ingested Jujutsu Kaisen keys from Deluxe

Presentation Issues: The Batman in theater 2 sounded louder than usual in its last round despite the volume being set to its regular 5.0 level -- this happened during a car chase sequence about 80 minutes into the film -- and I feared the speakers might blow because of how much they were crackling during it; I brought the volume down and noticed that while the amplifiers' lights were green, the DCM monitor lights above them were glowing orange, something I haven't seen before and wondered if it was due to how much the volume was peaking during the action (I'm fairly certain there's a soundtrack beneath the sync sound but it's difficult to hear in the mix with how loud the rest of the audio is by comparison)

Update: After the show finished I ran a house check (the speakers sounded fine) and then skipped to the part of the film where I first heard this peaking -- I brought the volume up to 5.0 but couldn't place where exactly it got as loud as it did, however, it goes without saying that this sequence is one of the more deafening parts of the movie so I'll continue monitoring it during future shows and pay closer attention to the center channel

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
