NPP Projection Report 3/6 Open


To do this evening/ was completed: Remaining setup for NSF Closing Night: Connect the extra wired mic to the #2 XLR input under the curtain, an XLR cable is already connected to the Shure mixer in the booth. They will also need a mic in Trees Lounge for the after party. Turntables are set up in Trees, amp just needs to be turned on.

The Foxfire print is on the cart in 3/7, it’s getting picked up tomorrow so please bring the cart to the side entrance at close.

Special Events/ AV set up: Set up turntables in Trees Lounge for tonight’s party, connected an XLR from the booth output to the Shure mixer for the wired mic for the Q&A.

Ordering/Receiving (content): Did not yet receive keys for the Happening screener DCP, I let the Cinema team know.

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: Continued inspecting Fist of Legend, no real improvement to the condition, lots of splices, base and emulsion scratches, and torn sprocket holes—many of which were not already repaired and needed to be taped up, one I had to remove the existing tape and redo. Added grease cues to reels two and three.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes, added runtime and credits times for Eve’s Bayou, House Party, Cool As Ice, Fist of Legend, and Showgirls.

Maintenance/cleaning: Took apart and cleaned the intermittent shoe on projector #1 in Theater 4, mostly to check if it also needed replacing before I get a new one from Roger tomorrow. It’s still in good shape so we’ll just need the one replacement.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Filled in credits times for Eve’s Bayou, House Party, and Cool As Ice.

The timing for the event memo for the Tuesday night private event is still not filled in so I asked Chenelle what time preshow and movie should start so I can fill in the cue sheets.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
