NPP Projection 4/16 Open



To do this evening/ was completed: Looked at T1 IMS when I got in--scheduler was empty. Rescheduled content for the day. 

Presentation Issues: Masking in T4 during Round 1 was a bit incomplete. Bleed on both side curtains during the beginning of the feature. Hit the FLAT macro on TMS to no avail. Hit the flat masking setting on the motor, also to no avail. Manually moved the curtains with the motor which mostly fixed the issue but the right side curtain was pushed further to the side than the left. Attempted to readjust but that resulted in image bleed on the left curtain. Restarted the motor after Round 1 and tested FLAT trailers and a SCOPE feature--masking was still misaligned. Manually adjusted curtains for Round 2. At the end of round 2, Will ran a house check and we noticed the lens alignment had been prominently shifted to the left. Readjusted the lens and saved the new alignment.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
