NPP Projection Report 4/22 Admin


To do this evening/ was completed: We’re receiving a screener DCP of Men tonight, but we won’t be using it as the screening will happen at Williamsburg and they’ve already received their own DCP.

Special Events/ AV set up: Instead of reprogramming the spotlight settings in Theater 2 for Shouting at the Screen, I simply disconnected each of the stationary spotlights from power so we can use the moving spotlights for their presentation without washing out the screen.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Received the new release poster for The Northman.

Print/video Inspection: Ran some of the Babe: Pig in the City print in Theater 4, it looks great. Wrote down the volume level for the screenings this weekend.

Also checked the Happiness of the Katakuris DCP, also looked and sounded great and is ready for Monday.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Checked on tracking for Blade, The Mask, and Watchmen prints. They’ll be delivered Tuesday 4/26 now instead of Monday.

Added tracking for the screener DCP of Both Sides of the Blade (shows up on Deluxe as Fire), it’s coming on Tuesday and will be screened for the cinema team next Friday.

Added tracking for the Addams Family Values DCP, which is also coming on Tuesday.

Maintenance/cleaning: Tightened the intermittent shoe mount on projector 2 in Theater 4 as it was a bit loose.

The shipment of radiator filters and the new AC interlock was delivered to DMS in Mount Vernon today. I checked in with them to see whether they’ll ship them to us or bring them on their next service call.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Reviewed the week’s cue sheets with Gerard, they looked good. 

Marquee updated?: Added the full title for Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, moved “Unbearable Weight” to the top row and put the rest of the title directly below it. Did the same for Everything Everywhere All At Once to make it appear a bit more consistent and also make some more space since I’m anticipating we’ll still be playing both of these titles when Doctor Strange In the Multiverse of Madness opens.

Added the second date for Babe: Pig in the City.

Posters updated?: Swapped the teaser poster for The Northman that was hanging outside with the new one..

Put some posters in the archive tube and spares of the new titles in the trivia section.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
