Special Events/ AV set up: The Babe: Pig in the City screening in Theater 4 went great. Wound the print back onto house reels for tomorrow, also cleaned both projectors again after the screening so they're ready for threading tomorrow morning.

Ordering/Receiving (content): We’re holding onto the Men DCP that came yesterday, though it’s not a release version and has no assisted listening or closed caption tracks and the studio will likely send a final release version which they’ll release keys for.

Maintenance/cleaning: Shortened both takeup belts on the 35mm projectors in Theater 4 after the screening. They held up throughout the full screening and didn't slip off, but they still looked like they had a bit too much slack.

Began putting the splicer back together which I took apart to clean a while ago. Didn’t get very far since it’ll take some figuring out to put it back together as there’s a lot of small parts and we don’t have another splicer identical to this one to compare. We have two fully functioning splicers, one for each booth with 35mm projectors, so this one would be just for backup, or maybe as a dedicated platter splicer if we get a new release print at any point.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
