NPP Projection Report 4/27 Admin

To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built a playlist for the private Sonic screening on Friday morning, loaded it to Theater 1.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Mic was set up last night for the High Tide intro, I just placed a mic stand under the curtain in Theater 4.

Double checked the changeover audio transition on the Theater 4 35mm projectors after a blip with the sound at the end of reel 1 during the Babe screening on Sunday. Confirmed that as long as the changeover button is pressed on the projector which the second reel will be projected from after the sound processor is turned on and before the show is started there won’t be any issues with the sound switching seamlessly between reels.

Typed up a reference guide for the Spoons set-up for Booth 1.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): The new Trail Mix drive came in, no Thor trailer on it so I didn’t update the PG trailer pack for next week.

Ordering/Receiving (content):

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Cat People and Babe: Pig in the City prints were picked up by DHL.

Print/video Inspection: Finished inspecting Drag Me to Hell, the fifth reel was lightly scratched but otherwise the last two reels are in great condition.

Started inspecting Blade, it’s another great print.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Filled in distributor info for all events in May from the Distro doc.

Doctor Strange showed up on the Deluxe portal, I added the runtime, ratio, audio type, etc. No tracking yet.

Added tracking for the Batman DCP, it’s coming on Friday.

Maintenance/cleaning: Cleaned the 35mm lenses in Theater 1, and cleaned the port window for projector 2. If you can't release the screws with your fingers you can always use a flat head screwdriver.

Ran scope test footage to readjust the lenses from both 35mm projectors in Theater 1. Jack said the lens on projector 1 was slightly slanted during the last screening. I adjusted both lenses in toward the gate for better focus, marked where the lens should meet the collar and drew a line to line up with the opening on the collar so the lenses won't give a slanted/warped image if taken out and put back in. Ideally we should just leave the scope lenses in these projectors, since there are two lens collars on each projector so we can remove the 1.85 lens if we need to use either the 1.37 or 1.66. Since these lenses are flat, there is no risk of the image appearing slanted or warped if the lens is not put back in at the proper angle.

Received the new drive for our Eclair server and contacted Max about going through the installation.

Vaccumed the Christie in Theater 1 and the booth floor.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift):

Marquee updated?:

Posters updated?:

Cleaning lights on for the night?:

Projection cart by entrance?:
