NPP Projection 5/12



To do this evening/ was completed: Teched Watchmen print with Desmond, volume levels have been logged. Swept all booths but was unable to mop because we are out of swiffer pods, so I did not update the maintenance log. Teched WAGTTWF in T4. Content is good to go but there was an issue with the picture alignment resulting in some bleed on the left curtain. Will have to be teched again tomorrow.

Attempted to ingest Jews and the Blues after transferring the DCP to our DCPII drive. Was able to locate the content finally but the ingest failed due to various errors, did not reattempt/restart IMS.

Desmond gave me an external hard drive that has a lot of preshow content on it. I removed a lot of content from the DCPII drive in order to transfer the content on this drive, including the Jews and the Blues DCP, so that will have to be retransferred back onto DCPII. 

Connected the DCPII drive to the T3 Christie but the drive would not turn on, preventing me from ingesting the content locally, so I ingested it to the TMS instead and then transferred content to T3 server.

Presentation Issues: Round 2 in T2 did not start as automated. This has happened repeatedly recently. The playlist loads onto the server but the content does not start.

Same automation issue happened in T6 round 3.

Blade 35mm: I was getting a mildly blurred image on the far right side of the screen from P2 during Blade. There was also a mild amount of bleed on the right side curtain. I ran a test loop between rounds and centered the frame pretty well. Might be something to check out.

Special Events/ AV set up: Private Doctor Strange screening in T1 went smoothly this morning.

Blade intro and screening went smoothly. Print is back in its shipping cans.  Reel 6 barely fits onto its shipping reel, so that might need to be inspected before we ship. One presentation note above.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
