NPP Projection Report 5/14 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues: Jack reminded me about the lens offset on the 1.78 DCP projector channel in Theater 4. World’s Fair is in this ratio and is screening in this theater so I checked it between rounds. As Jack mentioned it was bleeding on the left side of the curtain. I used the alignment test to adjust the offset to the right on the 178 ILS before the film’s screening.

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built and scheduled a preshow playlist for the Watchmen screening.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up:

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content):

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Cleared features from theaters which they won’t be screening in, and got rid of some obsolete playlists.

Print/video Inspection: Timed the credits for Watchmen and updated the timing on the cue sheets.

Emailed projection about a change to the film inspection protocol, basically just inspecting the print twice, once before screenings and again after the last screening. I’ve made a new inspection form for this purpose, it’s two-sided, with a ore-screening form on one side and a post-screening form on the other. They also have some more info on them than the previous ones. I’ve made several copies and placed some in both 35mm booths. I also transferred the info from the reports for the three current prints, The Mask, Videodrome, and Watchmen for their post-screening inspection.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes, added all Cinema and private events for June, added in format, auditorium, distribution info from the event calendar and distro doc.

Maintenance/cleaning:

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Filled in timing for the Watchmen screening.

Marquee updated?:
