NPP Projection Report 5/20 Admin


To do this evening/ was completed: Finish inspecting TMNT.

If the rain dies down, add the next rep title (Jews and the Blues w/ Q&A) to the marquee.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Removed all Stub PSAs and replaced them with the Nitemoves clip.

Also noticed some of this week’s playlists still had the 0513B forecast in the preshow, I swapped in the current version.

Downloaded and ingested the Bric X Nitehawk promo.

Converted Born to Win and Bug slides to DCP, built preshow playlists for both.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: The private Doctor Strange screening in Theater 1 went well again today.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Received posters for Marcel the Shell with Shoes On.

Ordering/Receiving (content): Top Gun DCP came, ingested to TMS.

Chenelle informed me the blu-ray for the 5/26 private event was dropped off, she'll be giving it to Kat to convert to DCP.

Received the Beyond the Black Rainbow print, brought it up to Booth 1.

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: Teched the Ghost in the Shell playlist, it’s good to go for this weekend.

Finished inspecting Born to Win and Set It Off. Set It Off is in excellent shape, Born to Win a bit more rough but still surprisingly good for being so old.

Ran some of Set It Off for Desmond in Theater 4. It looks and sounds great.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes added tracking for Bob’s Burgers, which is coming Monday.

Added tracking for the Star Wars Episode VI print for the secret staff screening. The delivery date is currently 5/25, the day the screening is scheduled. We may end up changing the date though since this is the initial delivery estimate (it was dropped off today) and it’s coming Express from New Jersey I’m hopeful it will arrive early.

Maintenance/cleaning: Replaced the scratched gate band on the trap in projector 1 in Theater 4.

Uploaded the new inspection report (as a PDF) to the Projection folder on the shared Google drive. There are some minor changes from the ones I already printed, but we can wait until we get through them rather than waste the paper and print the updated version.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes, filled in timing for Style Wars, Born to Win, and Bug.

Additional Notes: The Digibeta player, along with the analog to HDMI converter and test tape, are on the platter makeup table in booth 1. John will be picking this up on Monday morning. I wrote down some instructions for switching the player between NTSC and PAL, as this setting may have to be changed depending on the format of the tape. The test tape is PAL, and the player is currently set to NTSC (most likely the tape for the screening will be this format).

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
