NPP Projection Report 5/21 Open


To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 4 is having AC issues, shows have been marked sold out for the night although tickets had already sold for all three
showings. If the port window starts to fog up, remove it before it blurs the picture on screen.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built and scheduled a playlist for the private Fire of Love screening on Tuesday night. The event memo lists no intro or Q&A so I just built the playlist with an all ages preshow and the feature.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Ghost in the Shell screening in Theater 1 went well.

Jess emailed me about a tech check for a friend of Nitehawk’s video. We won’t be screening it for an audience at any point, they just want to look at it on a big screen. The tech is currently scheduled for Tuesday at 10am in Theater 1. They should be getting in touch with me to coordinate the delivery of the video, not sure of format yet but I’m guessing it will just be a file played via HDMI and not a DCP.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Ingested RRR to Theater 2, it’s in two parts, there’s supposed to be an intermission between them. Will confirm whether or not to build one into the playlist.

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: Inspected the Bug print, it’s in excellent condition.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Entered timing for the Fire of Love screening on Tuesday night. The DCP will need to be checked on Monday for the credit offset.

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
