NPP Projection Report 5/25 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues: During the pre-show before the Born to Win screening in theater 4 I tested the changeovers and noticed the changeover gate on projector 1 was not raising up whenever I pressed the button to trigger it to switch. Alec was present to watch the film and came up to the booth to look over everything with me. He saw that the audio was switching from projector to projector despite the gate being locked in the down position so I rebooted everything and tried the buttons again but the gate on 1 still would not raise up. Due to this, I ran the first reel from projector 2 and, whenever I had to switch to the opposite side, lifted the changeover plate by hand as I triggered the other plate to turn down

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
