To do this evening/ was completed: Work on cues and schedule for next week.

A blu-ray of Encanto, for a private event on Tuesday the 7th in Theater 5, is getting dropped off tonight by the host.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Checked in with Kat about this weeks B Forecast and the Crimes of the Future preshow, they’re being reuploaded and will be ready late tonight.

Converted slides for Set It Off, D.E.B.S., Bound, Dog Day Afternoon, Gremlins 2, and Land Before Time. Ingested them all to the TMS.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Crimes of the Future drive came, ingested it to the TMS.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Bug and TMNT prints were picked up.

Print/video Inspection: Looked at RRR with Cristina in Theater 2. It’s very very loud so I set it to play slightly quieter than normal, it’s going to be a full house though so we should check it the night of and give it a bump if necessary. Checked the transition between the two DCP parts and the credits as well.

Looked at the Ricochet print, there was no damage aside from the torn leaders. I scanned our report and sent it to John along with a description of the damage (this is on the inspection report as well), to send to the Academy to see if we can properly tape the tears in the leaders. Right now they’re just being held together with paper tape.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes, updated Crimes of the Future and added the Encanto private event.

Maintenance/cleaning: Began upgrading IMS storage disks. Since many theaters only have one title playing tonight I was able to get more done than I’d initially planned. I upgraded storage on the servers in Theaters 1, 3, 6, and 7. All content for the rest of this week has been ingested to these servers (other than the ones already playing tonight there was only Top Gun in Theater 3 for tomorrow and Thursday). I will do 4 and 5 tomorrow, but will wait until after RRR to do Theater 2. Once all servers have been upgraded on Friday, we can ingest all first run features to every server, along with all preshow content, and it will be part of the process when ingesting any new feature or preshow content (except rep DCPs) to send them to all servers after they’ve been ingested to the TMS.

Dusted the projectors in 1, 3, 6, and 7 as I was changing the storage disks.

Changed the lamp in the Theater 3 Christie.

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
