NPP Projection Report 5/4 Admin


To do this evening/ was completed: STB in Theater 1, last round. Everything is set up for the event, power strips (both the ones under the curtain and the one by the server entrance for the moving spotlights), mixer, and spotlight board need to be turned on and mics set on stands. Also set up the Splashtop connection to the Booth 1 PC and open the Theater 1 IMS Macro Execution page for Michael to control the volume. The HDMI to projector connection and 1/8" cable to the sound processor are ready to go under the curtain, they just need to be plugged into Michael's laptop for picture and sound.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Downloaded and ingested the Comics 40min preshow clip.

Built and scheduled the Batman playlist. Reached out to Deluxe about keys for this, they said they're on hold so I forwarded their message to John to see if he can check with WB.

Need the special slide for the Blade intro before building that playlist.

Converted the holding slide for tomorrow night's private event to DCP. Built a playlist for the event as well. I created the Mediablock HDMI CPL on Theater 3's server and included it in the playlist since I think this will make the projection go smoother with switching back and forth between HDMI and DCP, it should mean we won't have to load the holding slide for each Q&A. I'll run through the playlist tomorrow to make sure there are no problems with it.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Set up STB for tonight.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Received posters for Thor: Love and Thunder. They are in the caddy.

New Trail Mix drive came.

Ordering/Receiving (content): The Millionaires' Express print came, no trailers were included as expected. AGFA may ship them overnight tomorrow if they have appropriate ones.

Ingested keys for all first runs for the coming week.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Drag Me to Hell print was picked up by DHL, and House on Haunted Hill was circuited to Alamo. Freeway did not get picked up today unfortunately as I accidentally scheduled the pickup for the Williamsburg address. Rescheduled the pickup for tomorrow for 188 Prospect.

Cleared a few features from servers they won’t be playing from for the rest of the current schedule and throughout next week’s.

Print/video Inspection: Inspected the Millionaires' Express print, it is in good condition!

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
