NPP Projection 6/19 Open



To do this evening/ was completed: Uploaded Jade print stills to Google Drive, emailed Conrad. Do we have more of these? I only uploaded three.

Presentation Issues: Roger from CTS came by to check out the sound issues in T1. He manually tested the EQ and determined that the levels on P2 were fine, but the optical barrel on the soundhead wasn't focused and the azimuth was "off", which means you'll start to hear dialogue coming out of the surround speakers. Ultimately said it was a frequency response that Alec was hearing and the only way to know it's fully resolved is to listen to another changeover, but he was satisfied with the changes he made. P1's EQ was perfectly balanced, he said.

As Roger was teching in 1, I was checking out P1 in T4 and noticed that the pad shoe was much looser than the one on P2. I had Roger tighten it then ran a reel to see if I could replicate the side to side movement I saw yesterday. The frame was steady, however during reel 4 of the actual show (DEBS) there was a bit of a side to side jitter during some shots. I also noticed that when I would adjust focus on this projector the whole frame moved side to side very easily, so something might be up with the knob.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
