Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built a playlist for the Press Play private screening tomorrow night. 

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: I ran the first reel of Hellraiser II on projector 2 before opening, and noticed the focus going in and out. I loosened the gate tension and this stopped that. However during the screening I noticed this same issue on the other projector (projector 1). I had it set to the same tenseness as projector 2 before starting, but loosening the gate more seemed to help. I then noticed it again at the very end of the last reel on projector 2. I’m not sure what’s causing this, though it happening on both projectors leads me to believe it’s something I could adjust. Perhaps we need to set the gate tension on these projectors specifically for each print. I’ll continue to look into it. The screening went well otherwise.

Adjusted the lens file and masking for College Boys Live in Theater 3, the 1.33 lens file was cropping too much of the image and the masking needed to be opened, the ratio looked more like 1.37 than 1.33, if not a bit wider. Also checked credits and volume, added cues to the playlist as well as the lens/masking change for the feature.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Received posters for Don’t Worry Darling.

Ordering/Receiving (content): Wild Wild West, Supernova, and Out of Time prints came.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): The Jade print was picked up.

Print/video Inspection: Inspected the first four reels of Wild Wild West. It’s in quite good condition, though lightly scratched and with some minor edge damage.

Teched the Press Play DCP.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
