NPP Projection Report 6/7 Close

To do this evening/ was completed: Tangerine finished ingesting to the TMS and was transferred to theater 4 (deleted it from the TMS after the transfer was complete); scheduled all first run titles for the upcoming week (Tangerine and RRR show playlists need to be built and scheduled)

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Downloaded and ingested all Jurassic World 3 pre-show content and updated forecast/trailer content from the shared drive; updated all playlists with new forecast content and built a show playlist for Jurassic World 3

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/AV set up: Trivia in Trees Lounge went smoothly; set up the mixer and microphone in theater 4 for Desmond's introduction tomorrow evening 

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Flirting Scholar print was delivered and brought to theater 1

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: Finished inspecting Flirting Scholar; lots of splices/scratch marks/changeover cue fixes required throughout but, aside from this, the print is in fair condition

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes (for Tangerine and Flirting Scholar) 

Maintenance/cleaning:

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes (sans credit offset information for special event and retrospective screenings)

Marquee updated?: Removed Beyond the Black Rainbow and added letters for Double Team

Posters updated?:

Cleaning lights on for the night?: Yes

Projection cart by entrance?: Yes

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
