NPP Projection Report 6/9 Admin


To do this evening/ was completed: Friendly reminder about checking the credit offset for Tangerine when the keys open Saturday morning.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built and scheduled playlists for Sundays on Fire, Double Team, and Gremlins 2 preshows.

Started the playlist for Bound, however it’s incomplete as we don’t have the feature yet. Made a DCP of the breakdown holding slide with the song looped twice over it. Downloaded and ingested the video for one of the performances as well.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Chenelle asked me to mute the volume on E.T. over the credits so the party can sing happy birthday, added a cue to the playlist.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Received posters for Moonage Daydream, the David Bowie documentary. Couldn’t find an exact release date but it’s coming out in December.

Ordering/Receiving (content): The Double Team print came in.

Downloaded and ingested Wallace & Gromit: The Wrong Trousers and ingested it to Theater 4 for teching tomorrow.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Printed and attached the shipping label for Beyond the Black Rainbow, but it’s a UPS label so we’ll have to cart it over to the UPS store.

Print/video Inspection: Checked the E.T. DCP for the private event tonight in 6, it looked great.

Teched the Jurassic World playlist. Credits started earlier than the credit offset that came with the drive. I updated the playlist and cue sheets for Friday - Thursday and emailed MOD about the change for tonight.

Inspected the Double Team print, it’s in great shape!

Timed credits for Flirting Scholar, Double Team, and Gremlins 2 and updated cues.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Added tracking for Bound, it’s coming tomorrow.

Maintenance/cleaning:

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Checked over cue sheets for tonight.

Marquee updated?: Took down Downton Abbey, put up Jurassic World: Dominion.

Took Set It Off down as well, put up Tangerine with both dates.

Posters updated?: Took down the Everything Everywhere poster and put up Jurassic World outside. Hung Elvis in the lobby.

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
