To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Downloaded and ingested the Reconsider This and Wild Wild West preshow clips, built and scheduled a playlist for the Wild Wild West preshow/intro.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: I made lens files and set masking stops for 2.20:1 in all houses except 5 (ran out of time before it opened) using the latest Nope trailer which is the same ratio/container as the feature. Also made cues for the lens file and masking and built a pack for the lens/masking change to use when we build the playlist. I used the trailer for the ILS adjustment and the alignment DCP to make the screen file, it should be accurate to the feature, but I will double check once we can put it on screen.

Checked the specs for the 35s in 4&1 to answer the questions about possibly doing a 3D series. I’ll just need to check to see if the knobs to increase the current to the lamps work, as apparently we’ll need to increase the brightness on screen if we are to do this series.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Received a trailer for Fall on a thumb drive.

Ordering/Receiving (content): The Lilya 4-Ever print arrived.

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: Teched both Devil in a Blue Dress and The Descent prints in their respective houses, both looked great. Added volume cues for the feature to their preshow playlists.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes

Maintenance/cleaning: Gave the 35 projectors in 4&1 a good cleaning. It looked like the traps and gate pressure pads hadn’t been removed to clean in a bit, especially in Theater 4. I also wiped a good bit of dirt off the enamel on the projector bodies (not off the film channel) in Theater 4, those can get quite dirty pretty quickly.

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
