NPP Projection Report 7/16 Close

 To do this evening/ was completed: 

Presentation Issues: Alec noted the port glass window in theater 4 was fogged over this afternoon and he had to remove it to allow it to clear up -- I placed this back prior to the second to last round of shows and continued to monitor the temperature in the room throughout the night; last round in theater 5 had to be started manually

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: The Brunch Club DJ set at Trees Lounge wrapped up on schedule; I broke down the turntable and stored it in the closet by the mezzanine stairs (the case was laid flat on the ground since both of the covers seem to unlock themselves whenever it is moved into an upright position)

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): I reached out to VisionMedia to inquire about Nope posters (I'm not sure if these have already been ordered although Alec had mentioned we did not have any on site) but the office was closed and a recording mentioned the hours had changed; they will have to be contacted prior to 6PM

Ordering/Receiving (content):

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Moved the Lightyear DCP to the outgoing shelf; The Terminator can wait to be shipped out once tomorrow morning's screening concludes and the content is removed from the TMS

Print/video Inspection:

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning:

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Double checked the cue sheets for tomorrow and everything is good to go for the day ahead

Posters updated?: Removed The Black Phone and replaced it with Where the Crawdads Sing

To do this evening/ was completed: Scheduled 1/3 - 1/9 in LMS. A few manual starts in there. I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. SE screenings went smoothly. Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state.
