NPP Projection Report 7/18 Admin

To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues: Theater 4's projector lost its IMB connection around 9AM; a hard reboot fixed this issue and the content loaded onto the TMS as previously scheduled

Humidity in theater 1 created some fogging on the port glass window which had to be remove until the theater cooled down; this was placed back in between rounds

Print/video Inspection: Took a look at the first reel of Supernova with Cristina in theater 4; the picture looks great and the sound levels have been noted, however, running the reel on projector 2 (the one closest to the sound rack), I noticed the scope aperture plate is cutting off a fairly negligible portion of the bottom right hand corner of the screen and could use some filing down -- after this tech concluded I placed back the 1.85:1 lens and plate for the Wild Wild West screening 

Made some minor adjustments to the NoBudge 28 show playlist and checked it for picture and sound quality; everything is in working order and the show should go smoothly

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: Threw away all old and/or used inspection gloves in theaters 1 and 4/6

Additional Notes: Print inspection glove order was delivered (I brought two boxes to theater 1 and left the other two in 4/6); the lights beneath the tables in theater 5 were not lit up during the final two rounds of shows and we were unable to get them working again before I left

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built a show playlist for Interstellar (all this needs is a volume cue which can be added once the film is tech'd) Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Taking Off screening in theater 1 went really well Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordering/Receiving (content): Jawbreaker keys were downloaded and ingested Downloaded and ingested the "Antonias Line" trailer for the Boxcar Bertha pre-show Outgoing/Shipping (content): Print/video Inspection: Re-inspected Taking Off after the screening and placed all reels back on their shipping reels/in their canisters (also reached out the necessary parties at DHL and NBC/Universal to schedule a pickup) Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Updated information for a few titles this upcoming week Maintenance/cleaning: Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Marquee updated?: Removed Taking Off and added letters for  Boxcar Bertha  to the 3
