NPP Projection Report 7/19 Close

To do this evening/ was completed: Locally ingested Dirty Dancing to theater 2 and Decision to Leave to theater 6 for the cinema team to watch later in the week 

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built and scheduled a show playlist for Dirty Dancing 

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Trivia at Trees Lounge this evening went smoothly despite some technical difficulty during the setup (the gain was turned up too high from the DJ set earlier in the week and caused some feedback in the room as I was trying to test the microphone volume)

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Posters for Amsterdam and Nope were delivered

Print/video Inspection: Re-inspected The Descent and packaged it for return shipping after winding the film back onto its shipping reels (also scheduled a pickup for tomorrow morning); inspected The Burning and completed the inspection report (note: this print seems to have a pinkish tint in every reel so, unless my eyes are deceiving me, it will most likely look a bit reddish and/or faded once projected)

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes; for Dirty Dancing 

Maintenance/cleaning: 

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Scheduled titles for Tuesday and Wednesday on the TMS; was unable to finish scheduling/updating cues for Thursday's programming

Marquee updated?:

Posters updated?: Removed Bullet Train and put a Nope one sheet in its place in the lobby by the entrance doors

Cleaning lights on for the night?:

Projection cart by entrance?: Yes; the box containing The Descent print is on top of the cart in addition to the Devil in a Blue Dress print

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
