NPP Projection Report 7/22 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues: The last round in theater 2 (Thor: Love and Thunder at 9:00PM) did not start as scheduled and needed to be played manually; skipped ahead two minutes into the pre-show to make up for the lost time and have it run according to its scheduled end

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Downloaded and ingested all new pre-show content for the upcoming week with the exception of the "Orange and Blue Skies" pre-show (this will be ready Tuesday) and The Iron Giant trailer (I was unable to update any of the PG or PG-13 trailer packs for this week because of this missing trailer but did email Kat about uploading it to the drive by Tuesday -- there is also a new version of the "ActioninScope" trailer that will be added to these); for the time being I updated all show playlists for the upcoming week (a show playlist for Shouting at the Screen still needs to be built but I believe we are missing the intro slide needed to complete this) with new forecast content and kept the past week's trailer packs in place temporarily until the new trailer content comes in

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Additional DC League of Super-Pets posters were delivered and stored behind 3/7

Ordering/Receiving (content): DC League of Super-Pets DCP was delivered and ingested/transferred to all servers

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: Finished inspecting the Good Burger print and uploaded pictures of it to the shared drive (emailed Conrad to let him know about the photos); the print is in excellent condition despite some light scratching throughout and a sticky residue along the edges on the tail of reel 5 but it shouldn't create any issues while it is running

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes (for DC League of Super-Pets)

Maintenance/cleaning:

To do this evening/ was completed: Scheduled 1/3 - 1/9 in LMS. A few manual starts in there. I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. SE screenings went smoothly. Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state.
