NPP Projection Report 8/19 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues: The second round in theater 2 did not start as automated and resulted in a two minute delay to the start of the pre-show (the show playlist was unpaused and played manually)

Preshow Clips/Playlist:

Trailer Updates: Updated DBS: Super Hero trailer packs with the trailer for the Redline encore at Desmond's request (the other PG-13 packs remain unchanged and will continue to play the trailer for the "Orange and Blue Skies" series) 

Special Events/ AV set up:

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile one sheets were delivered and stored behind 3/7

Ordering/Receiving (content): DCP drives for The Invitation and Police Story were delivered and brought to the 4/6 booth; USB drive with trailers for Call Jane and The Good House was delivered and the content was ingested

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: Re-inspected No Way Out and packaged it for return shipping; the box is at the foot of the stairs in booth 1 with a return label attached

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes (for new DCP feature content)

Maintenance/cleaning: Swiffer WetJet pads were delivered and brought to booth 1

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift):

Marquee updated?: Added letters for Beast, DBS: Super Hero, and Bodies Bodies Bodies (which had not been put up at the time of the film's release; Eliel mentioned this to me during my most recent shift)

Posters updated?:

Cleaning lights on for the night?: Yes

Projection cart by entrance?: Stored behind 3/7 for the weekend

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built a show playlist for Interstellar (all this needs is a volume cue which can be added once the film is tech'd) Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Taking Off screening in theater 1 went really well Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordering/Receiving (content): Jawbreaker keys were downloaded and ingested Downloaded and ingested the "Antonias Line" trailer for the Boxcar Bertha pre-show Outgoing/Shipping (content): Print/video Inspection: Re-inspected Taking Off after the screening and placed all reels back on their shipping reels/in their canisters (also reached out the necessary parties at DHL and NBC/Universal to schedule a pickup) Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Updated information for a few titles this upcoming week Maintenance/cleaning: Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Marquee updated?: Removed Taking Off and added letters for  Boxcar Bertha  to the 3
