NPP Projection Report 8/24 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues: As I arrived the fire alarm had gone off and firemen were in Booth 2, as apparently there was some smoke. The fire department left saying there was nothing amiss in the booth, and that it could have been the construction. They left the windows open in the booth so it could air out. Jack and I reset all the theaters, though the first round was cancelled (except for the 5pm Dragon Ball in Theater 1).

Preshow Clips/Playlist:

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: The Out of Bounds screening went well. The warp on the print at the head and tail of each reel caused the image to go in and out of focus at the center for 30 or so seconds at the beginning and end of each reel. The screening and intro went smoothly otherwise. Cleaned projectors before/after.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Projection cart by entrance?: Yes

Additional Notes: While I was projecting Out of Bounds, MOD called to ask if I could meet them in Theater 2’s booth. I was getting close to the changeover, so I said I couldn’t at the moment. Once I changed over to the next reel and had the following reel threaded, I went up to Theater 2 to check the booth, and all was fine. Not sure what their call was about, maybe that the windows were still open from earlier. I closed them since the booth had sufficiently aired out by that point.
