To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist:

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up:

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Panic Room print arrived.

Started downloading the DCP of The Reverend for 8/30 to our hard drive. It went all day and still had 10 hours to go when I left. Unless it somehow finishes before Jack leaves, I’ll ingest to Theater 1 and tech it tomorrow.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Printed and attached return labels for Out of Bounds, scheduled a FedEx pickup for tomorrow and left it on the cart.

Print/video Inspection: Began inspecting Panic Room, looks good overall. Some base scratches which get fairly heavy at certain points, minor dirt/emulsion scratches near changeovers, and intermittent creases accompanied by light emulsion scratches throughout the first half of reel 5. Box was packed with reel 6 at the top and 1 at the bottom, so inspected 6-3. Will finish up the last two reels (1 and 2) before teching it with Desmond tomorrow.

Teched Redline and Sign O’ the Times DCPs for volume and credit offsets, both of which are noted in the asset doc. They both looked and sounded great.

Ran one reel of The Iron Giant on projector 2 to check the effect my repositioning of the gate last week on different film stocks (The Iron Giant is thinner like most newer prints are). It looked really good. Did not check volume, will properly tech it with Desmond tomorrow.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Added special events for the month of October. Left off some TBC events later in the month.

Maintenance/cleaning: I tried adjusting the scope lenses on the Century projectors in Theater 1. We got an email from a customer at the Sunday Point Break show that the image was cut off at the top. I was able to adjust them slightly, the most I could while still being able to get the image in focus. Looking at the RP-40 test loop on screen, there really is not much cut off at the top and bottom, the line marking the edges of the anamorphic frame is just covered by the top and bottom masking.

Cleaned the surface of the rewind table in booth 1, it was getting pretty dirty. If anyone wants to clean it, the best thing to use is the green Clorox spray bottle. Just made sure to clear everything off it before spraying the cleaner, and let it dry off for a good 5-10 minutes before putting anything back on, especially film.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift):

Marquee updated?:

Posters updated?:

Cleaning lights on for the night?:

Projection cart by entrance?: Yes
