To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues: Continued turning up the feature volume in theater 1 as the fans were kept on throughout the late afternoon and evening

The surround sound in theater 1 went a little haywire during the last round this evening (Gerard first noticed it during the trailers before Nope began playing and radioed me) which caused the sound to play from the wrong speakers throughout the auditorium. After quickly checking the room and hearing the issue I told the MODs that I would try to cycle through the channel assignments first via the Dolby app on the 4/6 booth PC to try to fix it; this proved unhelpful so I asked to reboot the processor in order to recalibrate the speaker channels. To make matters worse, I could not close the dowser remotely before pausing the film (I tried manually pressing the dowser close button on the touchpad itself and not even that would do anything to the image) so I brought the lights up with the picture still on screen after telling the MODs I had lost connection to the projector. I then rebooted the processor and waited about a minute for it to start back up, brought the house lights back down and resumed the feature before heading back into the room to listen to the sound. Thankfully, this reboot was all that was needed and it re-centered the dialogue in the center channel and the rest of the surround mix that had been coming from one side of the room since the movie started (this was not unlike what had happened during the opening of The Batman a few months back in the same auditorium). The reboot took approximately two minutes  with the delay provided by the dowser failing to close (I scheduled a new shutdown to make up for the time added to the show) but the audience was forced to endure roughly fifteen minutes of the film playing with a totally sideways mix which, admittedly, could have been cut in half had the processor been turned off and on first, though, I wanted to avoid having to bring the house lights up unless it was entirely necessary
