Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: We had already ingested the Reconsider This preshow for Wild Wild West, so that is all set.

Built and scheduled the playlist for the Funny Pages screening with intro and Q&A. 

Trailer Updates: 

Special Events/ AV set up:

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Fast Times at Ridgemont High DCP arrived, ingested it to Theater 1.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Cleared No Country for Old Men from Th1 server and packed the drive for return.

Print/video Inspection: I added footage markers to the second reel of High Risk since it had no countdown leader. I also added some extra black leader to the head since it wasn’t really long enough. Please remove this extra leader and the footage markers after the screening.

Inspected The Last Seduction. Overall it’s in very good condition, just some very light scratches, both base and emulsion, some of which are visible. There is slightly heavier scratching on reels 5 and 6, but not by much.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Filled in tech and KDM info for Fast Times at Ridgemont High.

The Woman King is also pending on Deluxe, filled in tech info for that and added tracking. It should arrive on Monday.

Maintenance/cleaning: I found the mounts for the Th3 surround speakers. They’re in 3/7 with the speakers. I will replace them on Monday.

I noticed the drainpipes from the AC in booth 1 had become disconnected in one place somehow and there was a small leak. Not sure how this happened but not much water had pooled on the floor, so I assume it was at some point today. I wiped it up and moved the pipe that had come disconnected so it was dripping into the next pipe.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Filled in cues for all special events.

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
