NPP Projection Report 10/20 Close

To do this evening/ was completed: Ingested Prey feature content for the staff appreciation screening in addition to "Liquor Law PSA" (this file was in the form of a feature for some reason) and the upcoming week's forecast content

Presentation Issues: 

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Added "shutdown" cues to the schedule (through Wednesday) on the TMS; also scheduled Black Adam and Decision to Leave staff screenings for tomorrow morning 

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Mad as Hell and Sexual Healing shorts programs for NewFest went over very smoothly in theaters 3 and 2 (Desmond was on site throughout the evening to setup for and keep the two Q&As to their scheduled times); I left the mics setup in T3 beneath the curtain for another NewFest shorts program scheduled in this room Saturday morning and kept the wired mic setup behind the curtain in T2 but brought the wireless ones back up to the booth to charge

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Spoiler Alert one sheets were received and stored in the poster cubby behind 3/7; Nanny and Plane one sheets were delivered this evening and stored behind 3/7

Ordering/Receiving (content): A box containing a number of reels from Harry Guerro was on the cart this evening and was brought up to the 4/6 booth; no title was listed but the writing on the canister leads me to believe it's the upcoming film for our next installment of Sundays on Fire

To do this evening/ was completed: Scheduled 1/3 - 1/9 in LMS. A few manual starts in there. I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. SE screenings went smoothly. Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state.
