NPP Projection Report 10/24 Close

To do this evening/ was completed: Keys for The Banshees of Inisherin, Coraline, and Don't Worry Darling were downloaded and uploaded to the TMS

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: I reached out to Kat about uploading the "Forecast_1028_A" content to the shared drive as we are still missing this from our upcoming show playlists

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: New Nightmare 35mm screening in theater 1 went very well this evening despite the jumps in volume throughout (the print has a Dolby SR soundtrack and initially I thought it was too quiet so I turned it up louder than normal and eventually had to bring it back down once the third act craziness started happening; the reels were extremely dusty and left quite a few flakes behind them so I cleaned the machines as thoroughly as possible before shutting these down for the night -- I also rewound each reel to their heads to expedite having to rewind them an extra time during re-inspection)

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
