Projection Admin 11/30



To do this evening/ was completed: Had our cinema meeting! Sorry I was out for a minute. Pain sucks. Thanks for taking care of things. Let's continue to double check the cue sheets, TMS scheduling (any missing KDMs, content, etc) or credits offsets that need tending to, or make note of missing information so that the next projectionist can immediately prepare. 

Presentation Issues: I noticed when scheduling HBO and Body of Evidence on the TMS today that Banshees did not have an active or any available KDM. Checked the portal, checked the email, reached out the Deluxe and they notified me that we did not have a booking for it. Thanks, Matthew, for getting this sorted. 

Preshow Clips/Playlist: I adjusted the HBO playlist and added in the proper server cues for the slides, sound, mics, masking, etc. Added the Gossip Girl slide at the end for the Q&A as well. Scheduled on TMS. 

Scheduled the Body of Evidence playlist on the TMS. 

I uploaded a lot of keys today: Banshees, Triangle of Sadness, The Fablemans, Violent Night, Elf, The Menu, Black Panther. The keys for OCAP screenings have been ingested, too. 

Violent Night can be ingested now and is available via DeluxeFilmVault/Eclairplay 

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Set up one wired mic in T1 for the Gossip Girl event, along with 8 chairs (sans one stool until before event). 

Created a spots 'scene' for the Gossip Girl q&a, sent a few options to Kim and the team at HBO. 

Ran loops in T4 for Body of Evidence. I know this isn't new information since it's been an issue since before I started, but the gate/lens barrel needs to be fixed since it has a hard time staying open. 

Set up two wired mics in T4 for Body of Evidence. 

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Started the download for Barking Dogs Never Bite from Magnolia. Can be ingested to its respective theater once download is complete. This is being downloaded to the 4/6 Desktop in a folder with it's name in the title. This DCP should be double checked. 

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Hook got picked up. 

Print/video Inspection: Tomorrow, Desmond and I are going to tech NoBudge at noon and take a look at The Thing.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes

Maintenance/cleaning: Brought a 1/4" to xlr up from T4 to the 4/6 booth. Prepped a bin with all we need for Spoons tomorrow, apart from the mixer, which is being used in T4 tonight. Their preference is Center channel for sound...

In the Kelmar tables, there's a loose piece of metal (that makes the electric connection work) which is connected to the motor. Whilst I was able to change the belt, this piece of metal is the world's most difficult project. The slit it should fit into has been stripped a bit. Sorry the table is a mess for now, but the reels for this evening will have to be rewound in T1. We'll get this up and at em soon.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Added the credits offset for the Gossip Girl event as well as Body of Evidence for this evening.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
