Projection Admin 12/15 Jack & Lillian

To do this evening/ was completed: Cinema meeting! Glad everyone got to synch up and spend some time together. Schedules have been posted for January up to the 2nd of February. Let me (Lillian) know about any changes you might need. I'll be working on our visual training guides, taking into consideration everything we talked about today in regards to what folks would most like to nail down. 

Tech'd Pinocchio and Avatar playlists. Volume has been bumped to 5.5 for both features, 4.5 for Spiderman Across the Spiderverse trailer, and 3.8 for the Nitehawk Winter Welcome element. Re-ingested a new version of the Antman trailer, as the one we had was significantly dim. 

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Updated playlist packs with Ant Man/Oppenheimer trailer. Deleted old Ant Man trailer (too dark) and deleted the Batman Returns playlist. 

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Added incoming Special Events to the white board.  Some of these are pending. We do not have 35 until Phantom Thread on 1/4. 

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Posters for Pinocchio, Dungeons and Dragons and 80 For Brady arrived.

Ordering/Receiving (content): Put in an order for a small mixer for T3. 

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: Ran a load of trailers--made notes for which ones might need to be recut for reframing. Most of these look great, some harsh fading on Dead Zone, still a fun trailer though. We received a load more trailers from Cristina, which we can continue to build up. As already mentioned, the programmers would like to start taking a peak at these on Monday, but we can take our time. I'll be spending Saturday looking at more, and Jack's got a lot of time on Sunday to graze through the new box, too. 

Excellent news: In the new trailer box, we received some test film! A different kind of alignment (non loop) test film, that we could make into a loop if we really wanted to. 

Batman Returns needs to be re-inspected this evening.

Marquee updated?: Batman Returns letters taken down.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
