NPP Projection Admin 1/31 Jack/Alec
To do this evening/ was completed: Note to all-- We do not need to wait to tech DCPs to get credit offsets. These are almost always listed on the "Ingest Letter" which is either included as a printed copy with a physical drive or attached as a PDF to the email notifying us the content is ready to ingest. We can add the lights up cue to the playlist using the given offset and in the unlikely event that it turns out to be wrong when we tech it (I've occasionally had DCPs that only include offsets for the crawl and not for the true start of the credits, despite having no mid-credits scene), adjust cue sheets and let MOD know.
Downloaded and ingested the rest of the listed preshow content--we're still waiting on EEAAO and Magic Mike preshow elements. All new first run features ingested--almost all first run playlists built and scheduled, half of the SE events playlists built. Still need playlists made for Husera, Love Jones, Love and Basketball and Brazil. Knock at the Cabin currently has the 5.1 version attached to the playlist--7.1 is ingesting, please swap. Likewise EEAAO--5.1s can be deleted once 7.1s finish ingesting.

Print/video Inspection: Teched Jack & Jill with Cristina. This print begins with an Arthur Christmas trailer. We won't show this but we also are going to leave it attached to the first reel. To skip it, simply thread the first reel normally, using the countdown leader. Then start the motor to run through the trailer, I put a piece of paper tape on the emulsion side of the film about 9 feet from the end of the trailer, kill the motor as soon as you see it unspool from the reel. Since it's on the emulsion side, it will be visible as you're standing by the motor switch. Watch the film as it unspools. Then, when you're starting the show, wait for the second piece of paper tape on the emulsion side (marking the end of the trailer/start of the feature) to enter the gate and open the changeover on the projector. Additionally, we are going to run this using Dolby SR since the Digital sound is not working from projector 1. Bypass the digital soundhead when threading both projectors.

EO has a 1.43 aspect ratio, which will necessitate a new masking preset and lens file.

Spot settings are saved on the board, playlist has been updated with all necessary cues. This event should go very smoothly, the performer will likely speak a bit between each music clip, and then just lipsync to the music. We will use a wireless mic, I added cues to the playlist to automate the switch between mic and DCP audio.
